Science Week: Primary School Science Quiz – Cork

Science Week takes place from Sunday, 9^th – 16^th November. Science Week at Teagasc is an educational, inspiring and fun week, packed full of amazing science activities for children and grown-ups alike. Find out more about Science Week at Teagasc here

5^th and 6^th class students, on Thursday, 13^th November from 10am – 12pm, join us in the Teagasc Food Research Centre, Moorepark, Fermoy, Co. Cork and get ready for a fun and exciting School Science Quiz!

Test your knowledge on all things related to the fascinating topics we research at Teagasc, from farming and food to animals and the environment. Watch exciting demonstrations and learn so much from our fantastic scientists.

Compete with other local schools, answer questions about how plants grow, where our food comes from, and how science helps farmers look after animals and the land. It’s a great chance to learn more about the world around us, show off your science skills, and maybe even win some cool prizes!
