Science Week takes place from Sunday, 9th – 16th November. Science Week at Teagasc is an educational, inspiring and fun week, packed full of amazing science activities for children and grown-ups alike. Find out more about Science Week at Teagasc here
On Thursday, 13th November at 10:30am, secondary school students (4th/5th/6th year) and their teachers are invited to Teagasc Grange, Dunsany, Co. Meath, C15 PW93, to learn about Irish cattle farming.
The event is free but registration is required.

This event will be ideal for Leaving Certificate Ag Science students, as well as other students just generally interested in learning more about cattle farming in Ireland and science in general! Come along on the day to learn here about the fantastic research ongoing at Grange and learn about a variety of things including grassland management, animal health and welfare, genetics, animal nutrition and sustainability.
Also, attendees on the day will have the opportunity to chat with some of the brilliant post-graduate (PhD and Masters) students currently carrying out their research at Grange, and ask them about their research and career path to date. A brilliant day awaits and we look forward to welcoming you to Teagasc Grange!
