Farm Design Event – Rathcormac, Co. Cork

The recent improved income potential from dairy farming, new 60% grant on slurry storage and changing requirements for storage under the nitrates directive, have led to increased interest in improving farm infrastructure.

A series of events will provide farmers with valuable information on good farmyard design. The events will focus on slurry management, nitrates compliance, water quality, and the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS).

  Insights on cubicle shed design, scraper options, slurry storage requirements, and details on the new grant.

  Advice on space allocation and ways to improve labour efficiency.
