The recent improved income potential from dairy farming, combined with the new 60% grant on slurry storage and the changing requirements for storage under the nitrates directive, has led to an increased interest in improving farm infrastructure. The events will provide farmers with valuable information on good farmyard design. Other topics include slurry management, nitrates compliance, water quality, and the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS).
