Research Interests

I am an Agricultural Engineer with an MBA and Specialist in higher education, currently working as a GIS Data Technologist at Teagasc. I am passionate about leveraging the power of GIS technology to revolutionize agricultural practices. My work is dedicated to addressing the critical challenges in Irish agriculture, from climate change to the implementation of the Nitrates Action Plan. I strive to contribute to the future of sustainable agriculture by integrating innovative data solutions and cutting-edge technology.

Current Projects

In my role within ACP, I focus on utilizing GIS to enhance our understanding and implementation of the Nitrates Action Plan. My responsibilities include organizing, analyzing, and interpreting spatial data to monitor and evaluate the impact of agricultural practices on water quality and the environment. By providing detailed and accurate geospatial data, I help develop strategies that support farmers in adopting sustainable practices, protecting our natural resources, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
