Teagasc Winter Crop Agronomy Update Webinar – Session One

The first of the Teagasc Winter Crop Agronomy Update Webinars took place on Tuesday, 9th February. Teagasc researchers, specialists and advisors updated growers on crop agronomy for the coming weeks.

Advice on nitrogen, P&K, weed control, PGR and disease control were also discussed. The first event covered crops from across the country including the following:

• Winter barley (hybrid and conventional
• Winter oilseed rape – early season agronomy
• Weed control in winter crops  – Grass weeds and difficult to control broadleaves
