My role is to manage the analysis of approximately 40,000 commercial raw milk and cream samples yearly, for trichloromethane (TCM), using gas chromatography (with LTM). This involves receiving, logging and storing these samples delivered by the Dairy Industry partners, conducting the analysis, reporting the results to the Industry partners and delivering presentations quarterly to the Industry partners to ensure all are up to date with trends in results.
