Better Rural Innovation: Linking Actors, Instruments and Policies through Networks (LIAISON)

Better Rural Innovation: Linking Actors, Instruments and Policies through Networks (LIAISON,) a Research and Innovation Action, Horizon 2020 project, studied 200 multi-actor projects (e.g. EIP Operational Groups, living labs, etc.) and conducted 32 in-depth case studies of co-innovation partnerships.

The AgILe lab explored how successful multi-actor networks function, what factors lead to effective co-creation, and how evaluation and impact assessment can better support these approaches.

The lab implemented a meta-living lab approach, partnering with farmers, advisors, NGOs, and researchers to collect insights and use them in EU-wide panels of actors implementing interactive innovation projects to co-design tools and how-to guides for evaluating and assessing the impact of interactive innovation projects.
