Teagasc takes part in a range of public events, conferences, and exhibitions, sharing research, expertise, and innovations. January

BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2025 took place from 8-11 January. We invite visitors to visit the Teagasc stand at the 2025 BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) where we had a range of hands-on displays throughout the exhibition covering a range of topics from across our Education, Advisory and Research directorates.

March

ESB Science Blast, delivered by the RDS, is a free non-competitive STEM education programme for primary school classes that invites children from across the island of Ireland to investigate the science behind a simple question that interests and excites them.

May

Bord Bia Bloom is one of the biggest horticulture events in Europe. Bloom is a general garden and lifestyle show with approximately 100,000 people attending over the five days. In 2025, it is going to take place from 29th May – June 2d.

Carnival_of_Science_Logo June

On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of June, Cork Carnival of Science at Fitzgerald Park features non-stop, family-friendly experiment, interactive activities, garden games, street cuisine and a packed line up of live demonstrations, big top science shows, hands on workshops and entertainment. Open from 11.00am to 5.00pm each day, Cork Carnival of Science is supported by Cork City Council and Research Ireland.

 


September

The National Ploughing Championships is an annual event in Ireland featuring ploughing competitions, agricultural exhibits, livestock displays, and rural life demonstrations. It’s one of Europe’s largest outdoor events, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
