Demonstration of Media Composting and Industry Updates

Join us on Wednesday, 22^nd October from 10:30am – 1pm for a Nursery Stock Workshop at Kelly’s Nursery, Deerpark, Streamstown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, N91 R5FV.

The workshop will consist of a hands-on demonstration of composting equipment and a discussion on growing media. Kelly’s Nursery has recently started developing its own growing media from composted green waste.

This event will feature:

• Hands-on demonstrations of composting equipment.
• Grower experiences with using composted green waste in plant production.
• Updates on growing media trials from Teagasc researchers, including demonstrations of equipment and skills for monitoring growing media.
• Key sector updates from experts at the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM)  and the Minor Use Working Group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see the innovations developed by the team at Kelly’s Nursery. We appreciate their support in hosting this event.
