European Project VALPRO Path to host a webinar on Consumer Perceptions of Plant-Based Protein
In its ongoing mission to revolutionise sustainable plant protein production, the VALPRO Path project is set to host its second webinar titled; European Consumer Perceptions of Plant-Based Protein on Wednesday 10 July 2024, from 14:00 to 15:00 CET.

The webinar will aim to review perceptions of EU consumers to plant-based protein that reflect the broader societal trends toward sustainability, health consciousness, and ethical consumption.
The webinar will feature insights from key stakeholders within the plant-protein landscape, highlighting critical aspects of consumer perception and market dynamics related to plant-based proteins. Participants will gain valuable perspectives on:
- European attitudes towards plant-based diets in Europe – Elsa Guadarrama, Smart Protein Project.
- Consumer acceptance of plant-based products across diverse European regions – Dr. Michel Fabienne, GIANT LEAPS
- The B2B market for plant protein ingredients/products in Europe – Maurice O’Sullivan, Kerry Group
Following these presentations, a panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Ewen Mullins, Head of Crops Research Department in Teagasc and Project Coordinator for VALPRO Path.
