Richard Jackson BVMS (Hons) MRCVS

Richard is St David’s Poultry Team Clinical Director and past President of the British Veterinary Poultry Association.

Pursuing a long-held ambition to develop a career in poultry veterinary medicine, having grown up on a commercial turkey farm in Ireland, Richard joined St David’s immediately after graduating in 2010. 

During the AI outbreaks of 2021-2023, Richard through his role in BVPA worked closely with the UK government vets and policy makers to discuss all aspects of AI.
