Milking equipment efficiency projects at Ballyderown farm, 1983 to 2000 
Ph.D Completed 2008: ‘Evaluation of the effects of milking management on the pathological teat tissue changes and associated new infection risk of the bovine mammary gland’
M.Sc  completed 1998: ‘Effect of teatcup liner design, rubber formulation and aging on liner performance
Worked on Animal health projects on Brucellosis, TB and parturition.: 1981 to 1983
Dairy herd manager at Moorepark and Ballyragget farms: 1979/1981.
