Using hormones to suppress ash dieback


Winners of the BT Young Scientist Group Project and Teagasc award, Loreto Secondary School Balbriggan students, Abigail and Erica O’Brien Murray and Olivia O’Shea join this episode of the Environment Edge to discuss how we can save the common ash.

Joining hosts Cathal Somers and Deirdre Glynn, they talk through their project titled: ‘Let’s Save the Common Ash: A Continued Story’, which examined the role hormones play in controlling the disease.
