Webinar offers key insights on TAMS 3 grants for drystock farmers

A recent Teagasc webinar titled ‘TAMS 3 Grants: Make the Most of Your Investment’ provided drystock farmers with expert advice on applying for and maximising the benefits of the TAMS 3 grant.

Hosted by Alan Dillon, DairyBeef 500 Programme Manager, and featuring Teagasc Scheme Support Specialist, Séamus Nolan, the webinar offered a detailed overview of the grant schemes available, eligibility criteria, grant rates and investment limits.

Details on who qualifies for the 40% or 60% grant rate was discussed, along with mobile versus fixed equipment eligibility and some of the common mistakes farmers make when submitting an application and how to avoid them. A questions and answers session took place at the end of the webinar, which was facilitated by Fergal Maguire, DairyBeef 500 Advisor.
