The first in a series of Covid19 Pandemic Health and Wellness for Rural Ireland Collaborative Civic Engagement Virtual Symposium lectures took place on Thursday, 12 November focused on Living with Covid.

This series has been developed to address and inform the higher than usual levels of reported psychological distress, mental and physical ill health during the Covid 19 pandemic. The series aims to promote positive mental being and general physical health and well-being within rural communities & the farming sector during the Covid 19 pandemic.

This series of publicly broadcasted online civic engagements lectures/symposia will focus on the key aspects of health and wellbeing affording viewers the opportunity to encounter a wide range of helpful insights and tools to help them through these challenging times. 

The lecture series has been organised as a collaborative venture between the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Trinity College Dublin, Teagasc, Carlow IT and Letterkenny IT.
