Research Interests

As the Scientific Communications Research Officer at Teagasc’s Food Programme, my efforts are focused on bridging the gap between scientific research and its application within Ireland’s agri-food sector. Key areas of my work include:

• Creating accessible content that simplifies complex scientific data into practical information for diverse audiences.
• Implementing best practices in communication to lead campaigns that effectively promote research findings and project goals.
• Actively engaging with various stakeholders including the Irish agri-food industry, policymakers, and the public to foster collaboration and drive strategic initiatives.
• Contributing to shape and align our communication strategies with Teagasc’s mission, focusing on research support, dissemination, and knowledge transfer.
