Celebrate Science Week 2025 with us at this fun, family-friendly event! We will share a science-inspired story and chat about some of the exciting research happening at Teagasc Moorepark. Bring your best questions for our friendly scientists, Eimear and Sarah, they can’t wait to meet you!

Set against the backdrop of the popular Marina Market, the event is a true community experience, welcoming people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. With interactive games, hands-on experiments, competitions, workshops and so much more, there’s something to spark wonder in everyone, from toddlers to grandparents!

Meet scientists from across Cork City, County, and beyond, as they share the excitement of discovery in engaging and accessible ways. Don’t miss the chance to experience science through art with our artist-in-residence, Annie Forrester, who will be creating a special piece inspired by our scientific spirit.

For families who prefer a calmer environment, we’re offering a dedicated Quiet Hour; low-sensory experience for a gentler way to enjoy the day.
