  • Matthew is farming in partnership (2017) with his father Declan mother Gladys & Uncle Gerry near Kells Co Meath. They are farming 158 Ha.
  • They miled an average of 350 cows in 2023.
  • They grow 16Ha of maize for the winter herd. The overall soil fertility status of the farm is 34%.

In this video, Matthew explains that he is partaking in the programme to improve on managing the financial aspect of the business and also to be able to learn from the other programme participants by having the ability to visit their farms. Matthew would also like to increase cow numbers.
