  • Shay is farming outside New Ross in Co. Wexford. Shay farms 97 Ha.
  • Shay is currently milking an average of 180 cows & has 45 replacement heifers.
  • This year he went with the PPI grass Nashota and 1.5kgs white clover seed.

    Will be feeding silage by end of week, grass quality is struggling. Will supplement and hold rotation. Hoping to have silage ground coming into rotation soon. Went with 1 bag 18.6.12/acre.  Clover still low, only got dairy washings this round. Breeding going well. Bulls went out on 8th, will AI with bulls for a week.
