Farm Safety Week 2026
Today marks the start of Farm Safety Week 2026, taking place from Monday 20 July to Friday 24 July. This is the 14th annual Farm Safety Week. Diana van Doorn, Teagasc Research Officer, and Francis Bligh, Teagasc Health and Safety Specialist, tell us what we can expect this year.

Robyn Dowling, from Skerries, Co. Dublin, was named Teagasc/FBD Student of the Year 2025. Describing it as “a huge personal achievement”, especially as “the first equine student to do so”, she operates Hacketstown Stud Stables, a family run riding school and livery yard.
