Water table control on peat soils

Overall Objectives:

• Examine site criteria that enable water table management
• Examine the practical side of water table control on high organic soils
• Examine how water table control changes hydrology in the surrounding landscape
• Create a decision support tool to examine suitable landscape criteria to facilitate rewetting and to examine how best to use this land thereafter.

ReWetProject:Field & laboratory work will focus on 4-6 sites

Good synergy with Carbosoland PhD student that focuses on Hydrology.
