FarmElevate Farm Walk – Harry & Joe Lalor

Join us on Thursday, 1 October at 11am for a FarmElevate farm walk on the farm of Harry and Joe Lalor in Knockamullin, Ballacolla, Co. Laois.

The Lalor family are part of the FarmElevate Lighthouse Farm network, a Tirlán and Teagasc initiative, developed to help farmers improve productivity, profitability and sustainability through peer-to-peer learning and knowledge transfer.

Topics on the day will include:

• How new entrants are achieving 500kg milk solids per cow
• Winter fodder budgeting and autumn grass planning
• Milk quality
• New slurry storage requirements
• Practical steps to improving water quality
