Forest Management Walk – Continuous Cover Forestry – Cavan

The Teagasc Forestry team have organised a series of Forest Management Walks taking place in various locations across the country.

A Forest Management Walk focusing on an introduction to Continuous Cover Forestry is taking place on Tuesday, 16^th June at Teagasc, Ballyhaise College, Co Cavan, H12 E392.

Visit an established Continuous Cover Forestry plot consisting of an over storey of Larch and an understorey of Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Hornbeam & Sycamore. Visit plots of different tree species, consisting of both conifers and broadleaves.
