Forest Management Walk – Reforestation – Kilkenny

The Teagasc Forestry team have organised a series of Forest Management Walks taking place in various locations across the country.

A Forest Management Walk focusing on Reforestation is taking place on Monday, 15^th June at 7pm in Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Meeting point: Castlecomer Community School, R95 AF5Y.

Visit a recently clearfelled site which has been replanted. The event will cover topics such as species selection, ground preparation, planting and establishment, weed and pest control up to canopy closure and supports to forest owners.
