Grass10 Infrastructure Month: Week One

Infrastructure Month, organised by the Teagasc Grass10 team takes place from Tuesday, 7^th to Friday, 31^st July. The month will consist of video content, articles and a podcast, all focusing on grazing infrastructure with a different theme each week. Content will be delivered on the Teagasc Grass10 Instagram page and Grass10 TV on YouTube.

Having grazing infrastructure optimal on your farm will maximise grass utilisation and improve labour efficiency

Week One (7^th – 12^th July) will focus on Fencing and Water on Beef and Dairy Farms.

The following videos will be published during the week:

• Tommie Devine, dairy farmer, Co. Roscommon, outlines how adding a tunnel to his grazing infrastructure will increase his days at grass.
• Michael McGuigan, suckler farmer, Co. Meath, discusses how creep gates for calves gives them access to high quality grass.
