Science Week: Science Story Time

Science Week at Teagasc 2026 will involve a nationwide programme of science communication and public engagement activities, delivered through in-person, online and potentially hybrid formats.

Join us on Saturday, 7 November from 11:30am – 12:15pm in Mitchelstown Library, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, P67 A663 for an interactive, child-friendly science storytelling session led by a researcher from Teagasc Moorepark. The event is aimed at young children (5+) and their families.

The session will introduce younger audiences to the science behind agriculture and farming through engaging stories and accessible explanations. Topics will include soil, water, animals and the natural environment.

No booking required, free to all.
