Science Week: Secondary School Farm Walk – Teagasc Athenry

Science Week at Teagasc 2026 will involve a nationwide programme of science communication and public engagement activities, delivered through in-person, online and potentially hybrid formats.

Join us on Wednesday, 11 November for a guided educational farm walk at Teagasc Athenry, Co. Galway, welcoming local secondary school students onto a working research farm.

The visit will provide students with an opportunity to experience a farm environment firsthand and learn about agricultural science and research through age-appropriate explanations and activities.
