Talking Timber – Timber Marketing Event

Join us on Tuesday, 1 September for the annual Talking Timber – Teagasc Timber Marketing Event at the Charleville Park Hotel, Co. Cork. This popular event brings together existing forest owners and the wider timber sector, with this year’s theme, ‘Knowing your forest and enhancing its value’.

The programme includes:

• Forest industry expo featuring foresters, contractors, timber buyers, state organisations and educational bodies, offering valuable networking, information exchange and collaboration opportunities.
• Outdoor timber display, organised in conjunction with Forest Industries Ireland (FII), showcasing the quality and types of timber required by Irish sawmills.
• Indoor conference with short presentations from forestry experts, sharing advice, perspectives and practical experiences on timber harvesting and marketing.
• Networking opportunities for forest owners, industry professionals and attendees throughout the day.
