Forestry clinics and plan for 2025

Kickstart your forestry journey in the new year! Over 30 forestry clinics nationwide will provide expert guidance. Frances McHugh, Forestry Development Officer, shares the details.

The Teagasc Forestry Development Department will have a busy 2025, packed with events and services to support forest owners and those considering planting. Clinics for those interested in forestry will run from January 20 to February 15. These will be held at Teagasc offices nationwide, where one-to-one support meetings with an experienced forestry advisor can be arranged by appointment. Over 500 landowners attended the 2024 forestry clinics, and we’re ready to meet the high demand for the 2025 clinics.

March/April: Talking Timber – timber marketing event in collaboration with the sector
