New Teagasc podcast for poultry producers
Covering all the news advice and insights from the poultry sector, Teagasc has launched the Poultry Edge Podcast and added it to its suite of enterprise podcasts.
Presented by Teagasc poultry adviser Rebecca Tierney, the Poultry Edge podcast was officially launched in Teagasc Agricultural college in Ballyhaise by the Teagasc Director Professor Frank O’Mara.
“The poultry sector is an important part of Irish agriculture, and we are delighted to introduce the Poultry Edge to communicate messages relevant to poultry producers in a timely and regular way. Our Podcasts are very effective at knowledge transfer and are proving popular across all sectors, and I hope that poultry producers will find the Poultry Edge of value,” Professor O’Mara said at the launch event attended by key stakeholders.
Host of the Teagasc Poultry Edge podcast, Rebecca Tierney said: “Tune into the first edition where I discuss the current market and trends with Shauna Jager, Poultry and Pig executive with Bord Bia.”
