Rural men sought for ‘Grass Ceiling’ project

Are you a man working in farming or living in a rural area? If so, the GRASS CEILING (Gender Equality in Rural and Agricultural Innovation Systems) project is looking to hear your views.

Co-ordinated by the South East Technological University (SETU) in Ireland, the team behind the Horizon Europe funded GRASS CEILING project is seeking participants for a one-hour online discussion focused on current media representations of farm and rural communities in Ireland.

The project team are seeking men involved in farming and/or living in a rural area; and men who have thoughts on how their community is represented in media coverage of rural events and issues.

At the online event, men involved in agriculture and/or living in rural communities are invited to discuss current media representations of farm and rural communities in Ireland, identify areas for improvement and advise on potential resources to promote more inclusive participation in media processes.

To partake in the online discussion on August 18, 2025, from 18:30-19.30, registration is a must. To register for the discussion, click here.
