Teagasc Ballyhaise Agricultural College to host open day

Teagasc Ballyhaise Agricultural College will hold an open day for prospective students tomorrow, Thursday, March 19, from 9:30am to 1pm at its campus in Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan (Eircode H12 E392).

The event is part of a series organised by Teagasc to provide information on its full-time Level 5 courses in agriculture, horticulture, equine studies and forestry.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the courses available, meet teaching staff, educational experts and current students, and speak with potential employers of course graduates. A guided tour of the college’s facilities will also be provided.

Information sessions during the event will cover the application process, course content and elective subjects, progression opportunities, student maintenance grants and work experience arrangements.

Advance booking is required. Those wishing to attend can contact the college at 049 4338108 or email ballyhaise.college@teagasc.ie to reserve a place.
