CIB and Teagasc launch Updated ‘Supports for Farmers’ Guide with Minister Dara Calleary at the National Ploughing Championships

The publication covers a wide range of topics including farming education and training, supports for young farmers, farming grants and schemes, social welfare supports, farm business management, taxation, succession planning and retirement.

Graham Long for the Citizens Information Board said: “The Supports for Farmers guide brings together trusted information in one place, helping farmers access the supports and services available to them throughout their farming journey. Together with AskCI, it provides another easy way for people to find reliable information when they need it.”

Professor Frank O’Mara, Teagasc Director said: “This updated guide provides practical information for farmers at every stage of their farming career and signposts them to the latest supports, schemes and advisory services available.”
