Teagasc National Layer Conference 2026
Teagasc is delighted to organise the National Layer Conference for a fourth year in a row, on Wednesday, 20th May in the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.
This conference will offer relevant practical solutions to a number of on-farm topics.
There will be five technical presentations covering the following topics:
- Farm Succession & Inheritance
- The Power of Data – A Farmers’ Own Perspective
- Vaccination in Long Life Layers
- Water Quality – Practical On-farm Solutions
- Health Parameters to Look Out For
Rebecca Tierney, Teagasc Poultry Advisor, will also present the most recent graduands of Teagasc’s Level 5 Component Award in Poultry Production with their QQI Certificates on the afternoon.
There will also be a host of poultry specific companies exhibiting the latest technologies, nutritional advice and sustainability options for producers.
Speaking about the event, Rebecca Tierney, Teagasc’s Poultry Advisor, said; ‘It’s great to see demand for this event again this year in the layer sector. This year’s speakers will bring very practical topics and solutions to our producers. Again, the exhibitors bring a different angle to the event for networking, another learning experience and just catch-ups after a long winter with the housing order!’
