Generational Renewal Week 2026 takes place from Monday, 7th to Friday, 11th September 2026, with a hybrid programme of events on generation renewal.
Generational Renewal continues to be one of the most important priorities for Teagasc and the wider agri-food sector as the age profile of Irish farmers continues to increase. Through many years of public events and engagement with thousands of farm families, Teagasc advisors have become trusted, independent supporters of farmers and their families as they navigate the generational renewal journey. Teagasc will continue to support both the experienced farmer planning to step back and the next generation establishing themselves in farming.
