Solar Capital Investment Scheme (SCIS) (TAMS 3)

This scheme aims to encourage the purchase of solar investments reducing dependence on fossil energy. The solar scheme is ring fenced with its own investment ceiling of €90,000 and will be grant aided at the enhanced rate of 60%.

An application at the maximum investment ceiling of €90,000 under this scheme can be made and further application / applications under the other TAMS 3 schemes could be made either as one single application or multiple applications to the additional maximum investment ceiling of €90,000 for these in totality. In the case of an application by two or more eligible partners in a registered  farm partnership the maximum eligible investment ceiling shall remain at €90,000.
