Nima Nejadrezaei

Postdoctoral Researcher, REDP, AEFS.

Research Interests

Nima is a postdoctoral researcher at Teagasc’s Rural Economy and Development Programme, working within the Agricultural Economics and Farm Survey Department. Currently, he contributes to the Horizon Europe Nutritive project, focusing on assessing the farm-level feasibility and acceptability of adopting innovative manure management practices and technologies. Drawing from an educational background in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Management, and business and management, Nima has extensive expertise in socio-economic research, particularly in consumer behaviour, innovation adoption, rural development, and sustainability. His additional Urban Agriculture and Green Cities studies have broadened his perspective, offering valuable insights into urban ecology and biodiversity enhancement. With a strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, Nima is proficient in statistical analysis and skilled in using various statistical software tools. His work reflects a commitment to advancing sustainable practices and bridging the gap between science, policy, and practice in agriculture and beyond. 

His research interests focus on sustainability, consumer and farmer behaviour, decision-making, innovation adoption, rural development, bioeconomy, and food Security. 

Current Projects

Nutritive - Innovative decision-making tool for defining the most suitable manure management strategies to achieve a sustainable livestock farming system during the whole value chain. Funded by Horizon Europe (2025-2028).
