Integrated Soil Research Programme
Teagasc has a long-established track record in soil research and continues to operate at the forefront of the field through strong national and international collaborations.
The programme takes an integrated approach to understanding agricultural soils, focusing on their chemical, physical, and biological health. It aims to develop sustainable soil management practices that enhance key soil functions, including biodiversity, carbon sequestration, nutrient cycling, productivity, and water purification and storage.
