Data requests
Much of the data held by the Agricultural Catchments Programme (ACP) is contributed voluntarily by participating farmers and land owners. For data sensitivity and intellectual property reasons agreed procedures are in place for the collection, distribution, use and publication of this data.
Up to 2026 over 120 documented requests for hydrochemometric, soil and geophysical data have been approved as follows:
- 35 – student projects
- 62 – national research projects or investigations (incl EPA, RBMS, third level colleges, Teagasc, etc)
- 18 – international research collaboration
- 5 – other
Requests for data should be made using the completed appropriate forms and these can be got by contacting the Communications Officer or other team members.
