Current Projects
Butterfly (2025-2029). Roles: PI, WP2 partner, agriculture student workshop facilitator for Ireland. Butterfly aims to enhance society’s capacity to appraise, foresee, and respond to the threats posed by cascading impacts of pollinator decline.
NUTRITIVE (2024-2028). Roles: WP4 partner. NUTRITIVE aims to address existing manure management challenges by developing a decision-making tool capable of defining the most efficient and sustainable manure management strategy for a given livestock farm.
STEP UP (2024-2027). Roles: WP3 partner. STEP UP aims to identify data deficits and upgrade traditional ELPS based on insights gained from ILPS, contributing to a more informed and sustainable livestock farming approach.
Past projects
QuantiFarm (Horizon Europe, 2022-2026). Served as project manager, test case leader, KT facilitator, researcher. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, QuantiFarm assessed the farm-level pros and cons of adopting Digital Agricultural Technology Solutions (DATSs), to support further deployment of these technologies as key enablers for enhancing the sustainability, performance, and competitiveness of the agricultural sector.
DairyMix (Joint Call, multi-country project, 2022-2025). Served a small part by interviewing farmers to support WP2. DairyMix examined Dairy Production Systems using a multi-criteria assessment, to develop decision support, modelling and management tools for sustainable circular mixed farming systems.
