Research Interests

I’m technical farm specialist at the Teagasc’s and Dawn Meats Newford Demonstration Farm, Co Roscommon with expertise in suckler beef systems, grassland management, and herd performance optimisation. My core strengths include data-driven decision making, precision livestock management, and cost-efficient production systems. I have experienced in calving management, genetic improvement, AI programmes, and animal health monitoring. I’m very focuses on grass measuring, rotational grazing, and forage utilisation, driving sustainable, low-cost output. I contribute to the on-farm research, knowledge transfer, and discussion group engagement, helping translate technical results into practical farming solutions .
