This autumn, Teagasc is rolling out its Farm Business Options Training Programme across the country, offering farmers and farm family members the chance to diversify their enterprises and explore new business opportunities. The training programme, delivered in collaboration with Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) and other support organisations, offers practical, locally relevant workshops across the country. These workshops are tailored for those looking to improve farm income or branch into exciting new ventures such as renewable energy, artisan food production, organic farming, rural tourism, and more.
The Workshops and events will cover a wide range of topics, including:
– Renewable energy and agroforestry
– Artisan food production and market gardening
– Rural tourism and social farming
– Organic farming and rewilding smallholdings
Attendance is free, but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
