Optimising Biosecurity Risk Communication Pathways for Bovine Tuberculosis

Background

COMMTB is a DAFM-funded research project that brings together experts from behavioural science, veterinary medicine and knowledge transfer from Teagasc, DAFM and Animal Health Ireland (AHI) to determine more effective ways to communicate biosecurity best practices for reducing the risk of bTB outbreaks in herds on farms in Ireland using existing communication channels of DAFM and other stakeholders.

Objective

Undertake a Participatory Action Research project to optimise risk communication pathways used to communicate with vets and farmers about bTB and biosecurity in Ireland
