National Hill Sheep Conference
The Teagasc National Hill Sheep Conference took place on Wednesday, 19th February in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. Attendees at the conference heard topics ranging from upland management in the Comeraghs, unexplained lamb losses, to the main findings of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine’s Thin Ewe Scheme.

National Lowland Sheep Conference
The Teagasc National Lowland Sheep Conference took place on Tuesday, 28th January in Tuam, Co. Galway and on Thursday, 30th January in Trim, Co. Meath. A range of practical and topical sheep production issues was addressed by speakers from the UK, Teagasc, and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
