Farm Categorisation
Farms typically produce more than one type of agricultural output. In the National Farm Survey farms are categorised into farm types according to their principal output. In this Final Report for 2024, the survey sample is representative of a population of 88,000 farms in Ireland.

National Farm Survey Farm Enterprise Data Dashboards
Teagasc has launched National Farm Survey Farm Enterprise Data Dashboards, a new online tool to provide farmers, advisors and policymakers with clear insights into the economic performance of Ireland’s main farm enterprises.

Teagasc National Farm Survey recorded data on 863 farms. These factsheets summarise the results from six enterprises.
