Project Title

Co-creating for Universal Design for Learning to promote Access, Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality among staff and learners on Teagasc education programmes.

Project Overview

This project focuses on embedding Universal Design for Learning (UDL) within Teagasc’s education programmes to enhance access, diversity, inclusion, and equality for all learners. Using a bottom-up, participatory approach, it works directly with educators to explore practical, flexible ways of strengthening inclusive teaching in everyday classroom practice.

Through surveys, working groups, and case studies, staff will reflect on their experiences, identify small but meaningful shifts in practice, and co-create strategies that support diverse learner needs. By placing educators at the centre of the process, the project aims to build sustainable capacity for inclusive teaching and encouraging learning environments where every student feels supported, valued, and able to succeed.
