Masters in Agricultural Innovation Support Research Projects 2021-2023Project Title: Achieving improvements in water quality through targeted organic manure storage advice

Overview: Róisín’s research is part of the Agricultural Sustainability Support and Advisory Programme (ASSAP). ASSAP includes advisors who work with farmers in a free and confidential advisory service to help improve water quality. Her main research objective is to identify the problems that exist and the potential solutions at farm level to improve slurry storage. The overall study aim post data collection is to develop knowledge transfer methods to improve slurry storage on Irish farms that will be useful to farmers and advisors, practical, positive and useful friendly, as well as align with Government legislation.
