Project Title: Develop and assess visual and digital tools for Knowledge Transfer in the pig industry.

Project Description:
Farm walks, live demo’s etc. are not feasible in the pig industry due to the threat to biosecurity. This project will develop a range of tools, based on advisor and farmer input that will improve advisory and education services provided by the Pig Development Department. A series of focus groups will be used to select the tools and to assess reaction to the tools once developed.  The tools will provide information to clients in a bio secure, non-location dependent, user-friendly manner. Workshops and training courses will benefit from the integration of visual and digital elements, broadening appeal to participants. Provision of practical information that will increase on-farm skills and knowledge at a time that fits the normal farm routine, will impact positively on efficiency.
